3D Review: Resident Evil Afterlife

met again yesterday the brachial Blog filmmakers round, our sacrifice: Resident Evil Afterlife. Having had the Forführer in CineStar Original "placed first for public amusement" Despicable Me ", was able to start the great zombie battles.

In the intro with his wild zooms into the stratosphere, as we know from the public enemy No. 1, we were due to the stereoscopic same time a bit queasy in the stomach. The action starts promptly with one of the strongest Action scenes of the film, which comes in 3D really nice crisp. The film was produced in a hybrid technology in real stereoscopic images, 2D conversion and CGI set extensions, which works very well. In the further course of the film, the stereography in every way. The course of the film less as most of the time about not much happened. Zombies are to see the hundreds of thousands indeed, occur but rarely in action. There are no emotional reactions of the main characters and some "coincidences" in the film are just downright laughable. In the central part also annoys an underwater sequence in the 3D beam flashlights almost like in real life unpleasant in the eyes.

was
Without further betrayed by the story so to say: Technically the film is top, and content are not quite convinced in my eyes is weaker than that of part 2 and especially third The action sequences, even if they are partially copied exactly shot from matrix and other milestones to know but still inspire and show you how "New Cinema" can benefit from 3D. We knew how to appreciate, after the trailer block of as numerous as soulless CGI-3D films on rabauke fairy tale characters, disoriented owls, with poor speaker voices conferring animals and after Despicable Me was already the second sympathetic CG-villain tortured. Groan.
